XS-POWER - BUILT FOR THE BMW S55
The BMW S55 is an exceptionally capable twin-turbocharged inline-six engine. When increasing performance, one of the most important areas to address is exhaust restriction immediately after the turbochargers.
The factory catalytic converter assemblies create a restriction directly downstream of the turbines. The XS-POWER catless race downpipes replace these restrictive factory sections with large-diameter, free-flowing stainless steel piping.
Reducing post-turbine exhaust restriction can help the turbochargers evacuate exhaust gases more efficiently and improve response throughout the RPM range.
TRUE 3 INCH HIGH-FLOW DESIGN
Pipe diameter alone does not tell the entire story. Some aftermarket downpipes are advertised as 3 inch systems but reduce diameter significantly shortly after the turbo connection.

CAD/CAM DESIGNED CAST V-BAND TRANSITIONS
One of the most important areas of any turbo downpipe is the transition immediately after the turbocharger.
XS-POWER uses a CAD/CAM designed cast stainless steel V-band transition system to create a smooth transition from the turbocharger outlet into the large 3 inch downpipe.
The smoother exhaust path helps minimize abrupt internal changes that can disrupt exhaust flow.
