Upgrade the exhaust system on your classic Chevrolet or GMC C/K truck with XS-POWER Long Tube Headers, engineered for select Chevy and GMC C1500, C2500, K1500 and K2500 5.0L 305 and 5.7L 350 V8 applications. The full-length long-tube design is intended to improve exhaust flow, reduce restriction and support stronger mid-to-high RPM performance compared with restrictive factory exhaust manifolds.
These headers feature 1-5/8 inch (42mm) mandrel-bent primary tubes feeding into 2-1/2 inch (64mm) long-transition collectors. The smooth bends and long-tube configuration help maintain exhaust-gas velocity while reducing unnecessary flow restriction.
Built from 16-gauge (1.5mm) mild steel, the headers use 5/16-inch (8mm) laser-cut head flanges and TIG-welded joints for strength, fitment and durability. A black high-temperature paint finish provides a clean performance appearance.
LONG-TUBE PERFORMANCE DESIGN
Long-tube headers use extended primary runners to improve exhaust pulse management and flow. This configuration is commonly selected for performance-oriented Chevy 305 and Chevy 350 small-block V8 truck builds where improved mid-range and upper-RPM breathing is desired.
