Always diagnose the complete engine, PCV system, oil supply and oil return system before replacing a smoking turbocharger. A replacement turbo cannot correct an external engine or lubrication-system problem.
The compressor uses a newly designed 12-blade billet wheel. The upgraded compressor configuration is engineered with tighter optimized clearance to the compressor housing to improve compressor efficiency while providing additional airflow capability at higher engine speeds.

This upgraded turbo can be installed as a replacement on compatible applications, but an appropriate ECU calibration is recommended when the goal is to take advantage of the upgraded compressor and additional airflow potential.
Testing of properly configured applications has shown improvements in low-RPM torque and horsepower as well as additional peak output. Actual results will vary considerably depending on ECU calibration, fuel, exhaust, intercooling, engine condition and supporting modifications.

- Brand new upgraded turbocharger for the mazda 3 & 6 with 2.3 turbo. This is a direct bolt in turbo to replace the 881/882 turbos from the speed 3 & 6. This unit is completely re-engineered and built "BULLET PROOF". Upgraded bearing and seals as well as a new designed thrust bearing mean this turbo is built to stand anything. The compressor wheel is a brand new designed 12 blade billet wheel. This wheel is slightly oversized to have less gap between the wheel and housing for better efficiency and to provide a safe increase in top end power but thanks to clever mods to the exhaust side of this turbo you don't lose and bottom end power. The wastegate is ported and the actuator is calibrated to make this a bolt on no tuning required replacement turbocharger for the cx-7. However we recommend getting tuned and you will gain 10-15 ft/lbs of torque and 20-25 hp at low rpm ranges. And a peak increase of 28 ft lbs of tq and 37hp has been seen with this turbo. These are amazing replacement units and are being sold at an amazing price.
