The XS-POWER 35mm / 38mm External Wastegate Dump Tube is designed for custom turbocharged applications using a compatible 2-bolt external wastegate.

Also commonly called a wastegate dump pipe, screamer pipe, atmospheric wastegate tube or external wastegate discharge pipe, this component routes hot exhaust gases discharged through the external wastegate away from the immediate turbocharger and engine-bay area.

Manufactured from stainless steel with a heavy-duty 10mm thick mounting flange, the pipe features computerized mandrel bends and smooth internal passages designed to minimize unnecessary restriction in the wastegate discharge path.

This is an excellent fabrication component for custom turbo systems on Honda, Acura, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Toyota, BMW, Audi, Volkswagen, Subaru, Mazda, Ford and other turbocharged performance applications using a compatible 35mm or 38mm 2-bolt external wastegate.

An external wastegate regulates turbocharger boost by allowing a controlled amount of exhaust gas to bypass the turbine wheel.

When the wastegate opens, those extremely hot exhaust gases must be directed somewhere. A wastegate dump tube attaches to the wastegate outlet and provides a controlled discharge path for those gases.

This XS-POWER dump tube is designed for an atmospheric wastegate discharge configuration. Instead of routing the wastegate exhaust back into the main downpipe, the tube directs the exhaust away from the immediate turbo and engine-bay area.

Atmospheric external wastegate systems are commonly known as "screamer pipe" setups because the wastegate discharge can become extremely loud when the wastegate opens under boost.

IMPORTANT: Vehicle make and model alone DO NOT determine fitment. Your external wastegate must use the compatible 35mm / 38mm 2-bolt outlet flange configuration.

This dump tube will not fit V-band wastegates or incompatible wastegate sizes/flange patterns.

Please compare the flange, bolt pattern, pipe routing and available clearance with your existing turbo system before ordering.

Professional installation is strongly recommended, especially when the dump tube is being incorporated into a custom turbocharger system.

The tube must be positioned so discharged exhaust gases are directed safely away from wiring, hoses, brake components, fuel lines, bodywork and other heat-sensitive components.

Adequate clearance should also be maintained around the dump tube because external wastegate exhaust temperatures can be extremely high.

Atmospheric wastegate discharge systems can be extremely loud and may not comply with emissions, exhaust or noise regulations in all locations. Check applicable laws and regulations before installation or road use.

What size wastegate does this fit?
It is designed for compatible 35mm and 38mm external wastegates using the traditional 2-bolt flange pattern.

Will it fit a 38mm V-band wastegate?
No. This version uses a 2-bolt mounting flange. It is not designed for a V-band wastegate outlet.

Is this the same thing as a screamer pipe?
Yes. Atmospheric wastegate dump tubes are also commonly referred to as wastegate screamer pipes because of the aggressive exhaust sound produced when the external wastegate opens.

Is this only for Honda or Acura?
No. This is a universal turbo fabrication component. It can be used on many vehicle platforms provided the external wastegate flange, size, routing and available clearance are compatible.

Does it increase horsepower?
The dump tube itself should not be treated as a specific horsepower upgrade. Its purpose is to provide a suitable discharge path for an external wastegate in a turbocharged system.

Are the gasket and hardware included?
Yes. The package includes the dump tube plus the gasket and mounting hardware shown in the product photographs.
